I've given up on this for now! Doesn't seem to be any news and also since the big frequency reorganisation a few weeks ago, the SD channels have an even worse picture quality! It was a bit ropey beforehand. As well as the AES change, Canalsat in general are employing various extra levels into their Viaccess encryption to prevent sharing that could take the channels away at any time even if the new AES key is found. No doubt the fault of the greedy servers! TNTSAT is no longer even considered an 'official' satellite provider of the free TNT channels anyway. You can see that in action with their sham of not carrying all of the new 6 channels in HD. I've decided to bite the bullet and get a Bis card for 13°E instead. The SD channel picture quality is a lot better over there and all the relevant HD channels are around too. I'll always have the TNT card as a backup in any case. 4.90€ per month to save me a few problems seemed worth it. I can always review the situation in 12 months. :D
