Hello,
There is 2XCF100 coax cable to several rooms in my house. In some of the rooms the cable comes up from under the floor but in others, it runs down the wall. The quadraplex outlets I have seen so far are bottom entry only(ooh err!). The only way the cables will go in is if you put the outet upside down, but then all the labels are also upside down.

Is there any outlet that has top entry? Is there any outlet with no labels?
Does it matter which manufacturer's outlet I choose (e.g.frequencies that signals are split may differ) or do I need the same make of loft box? I am considering Wolsey or Labgear.

Other than that is there any advice on how I can bend the cables round to make them upside down because they are not all that flexible.

Thanks

Think you'll find them all to be bottom entry; the cable should slightly bend round and up, (although not ideal). You should also be able to unscrew the front part and turn it to suit. Can you upload a picture of the quad plate or direct us to the manufacture?

There is one made by Labgear I am considering. The cables actually drop down inside the cavity wall and come out straight through the wall near the top of the 35mm deep recess so it would need to be bent down and then up again. You say that the front part (where the connectors are) can be turned round on some models? Which ones?

It may help if I post some pictures tomorrow. You might be able to suggest a way I can re jig things for it to fit. Presumably, if the cable gets kinked the signal will be poor?

As far as i remember Triax triple/quad sockets can be fitted either upside down or the rightway up as the plastic front plate has the writing on it both ways.

Haven't seen one for about 5 years as i went onto use Fracarro plates so i have no idea if they still make them this way.

Worth having a look though. The internal parts are still the same its just the plastic bit that could be rotated to suit the direction of installation.
