Surely if you buy a 12 month subscription to tring via paypal and it gets closed down within say 2 months you could claim a refund (via paypal) for not fulfilling the contract?

Assuming you are referring to the 3pm footy games getting closed down I think you would not have a hope in hell of getting a refund. The card itself would still be working and all satellite viewing contracts have wording in them saying something along the lines that channels and content are subject to change at any time.

Plus, this is Paypal and their guarantees (Paypal seller/buyer protection) are worth absolutely nothing.

You might spend upwards of a month getting bot induced replies from their 'team' claiming they are looking into it, but at the end of the day the only thing that moves you forward is action in the small claims court.

To be fair i got scammed for an item on ebay where the guy just kept telling me it was on its way and they got me a full refund and gave me a discount on my next purchase.

But not necessarily the satelite companys contract but rather the supllier. i.e '380 prem games a season' and being shut down after a week, surely you'd have a claim?
