Hi everyone,
I have the following Star Sat FTA digital satellite receiver: [SIZE=-1]"SR-X1500D SUPER MK II ". It worked fine till a few days back, now it doesn't have any video signal out and also the "Signal" LED flickers.
Sometimes the front panel display shows LOAD followed by A in quick succession, and the Signal LED is OFF in this case. Also, the display occassionally shows other weird numbers (6666, 5555, 3333 etc) but the display goes off completely and only the power LED remains lit - with 0 appearing here and there. Nothing on TV screen at all times.
Can you please advise how I can fix the problem? I tried upgrading with the file from satdw.com (SR-X1500D_SUPERMKII_301006.zip), and it gets downloaded onto the receiver. But its still erratic after the upgrade.
Does anyone know where I can get the original bin file? Not present of starsat website.
Thanks a lot, hope someone is able to shed some light
regards,
p.s. noticed a few threads on this issue, but since they were pretty old, felt it better to create a new one.
