I just read this on another forum and thought that it would be appropriate here:

TV Globo left Hispasat and is free to air at Hotbird 13º:
11585.00MHz, pol.V SR:27500 FEC:3/4 SID:13526 PID:1523/1524.
It'll be nagra2 and cost round 180/year.

I haven't tested it yet so I can't confirm it. Thanks to farofa*alsat.

Theres also a Band Sports feed on Eurobird 1 thats occasionally active evenings 11494V 6111

You can also watch brasilian games in Record (FTA)

Hi Guys, I live in the highlands and I am DESPERATE to get Globo. I've looked through the treads and don't even know where to start.

Could anyone tell me which is the best receptor to buy, and also, will I need another satelite dish? Will one like sky do?

Please help me, I really miss Globo...

A 60-80cm dish (80 cm better as you are in the Highlands where it rains a lot!) Aligned on Hotbird 13E.
A receiver that will handle a Nagra or Viaccess subscription card (depending which one you get / want)
And a subscription card.
