The signal I am receiving to the TV is from a dish for Freesat (the cable goes straight to the Tv not the recorder)

Is it possible to receive a picture from the TV using a scart lead only going to the video recorder, and looping it back to the TV, again using a scart lead, so I can record using a video recorder?

Any help with this request would be very much appreciated.

Hi, don't think it's possible to record freesat with a freesat embedded TV.

Some TV's have the facility to output whatever is on screen to one of the scart connectors, my Toshiba does, but its not a Freesat TV.

The other option is to buy one of the single tuner Freesat models that have Fresat recording ability, the Technisat for example, I think.
