I want to run two boxes off the same dish. Is it possible to split the signal from the LNB? If not, can I put two LNBs on the same dish looking at the same bird or will I have to go the whole hog and have two completely separate dishes? Keeping in mind here in Egypt they have to be BIG dishes!

Cheers
Robbie

LOL, no problem Robbie, just in your case you need to be careful which LNB you choose, some the guys in Cyprus like the Quad by Invacom and they do a C120 version, others like the MTI.

Thanks Rolf, what I am worried about is the fact that I am way out here on the fringe of the fringes and the dish is so big that even the slightest movement of the dish and I start to lose channels. Will I be able to get both LNB's on target looking at the same bird?

I am planing to run a 2nd non sky box and have it dedicated to radio. I see on www.lyngsat.com/packages/skyuk.shtml BBC2 and 4 are on 2Bsouth but for some reason I also get Virgin,Heart and the others on 2b North. I didn't realise I could get a north beam. Do you think I will still be able to get them or will I need a 2nd dish?

Should be OK Robbie, the Quad LNb is effectively a single LNB as far as lining up is concerned. If you are looking at the second receiver route, may be worth considering something like the Coship 2300 FTA http://www.coship.com/english/PRODUCTS/cdvb2300a.htm it has a very sensitive tuner and also an spdif audio output.
