- I've got DSTV with a 1 metre Ku-Band dish

If we want to get reception outside the footprint, we usually use a big dish lets say 5 m which is normally c-band.. is it possible to get signals from the Kuband with such a dish or do we have to do some adjusting on it?? Any idea how far we can get reception from the footprint???
