I see that the English premiership matches that have been broadcast at weekends on Multivision 8 on Hotbird are moving this week to English Premier League channel also on Hotbird. The latter used to carry a promotional clip but I find today that they've just changed their encryption in readiness for the weekend. I can decrypt Multivision but not EPL. Anyone got any information about this?

Interesting.

Can't update that transponder via the satellite, but I previously had it as using TP$crypt. I wonder if they have just bu99ered about with the PIDS like they used to do with TV Sport RO?

Can't see them using a different encryption without interrupting service to the bona fide customers. And what about all the matches shown on TP$ Star?

It'll all come out in the wash.

what look slike has happened is that multivision 8 has gone.

EPL will show repeats of full matches at certain times of the day, and live matches will only be shown on TPS Star

At the moment, MV8 is fine but who can tell what will happen in the future.

If you check now the channel is FTA and the onscreen schedule for this weekend (5th/6th March) shows that some of the live games will be on the EPL channel.

There's no reason why it shouldn't be in the same encryption as TPSstar.

I might be missing something but Multivision 8 ( on 10911/V/27500 )changed to Eurosport weeks ago and all MV 8 programs could/can be found on EPL (10796/V/27500). This still appears to be the case. Are you sure something has changed? The only thing I have noticed this evening is that the advertising loop is in english.

Is is a voice of vast experience.

So let's not start a headless chicken thread here, and save space for
'QUALIFIED INFO'. Makes sense .:)

Thanks Gents.
