UK General Elections

Hi all, can people post any feeds they find on Thursday this week for the UK General Election - they used to have many feeds from the various polling stations across the uk but I wonder whether they will use mobile uplinks instead? Anyone with inside information care to share?!

Not an insider, but a recent podcast of a BBC insider was asked about satellite trucks and getting them booked for this election, and they said they do still use them due to counting centers tending to be massive faraday cages.

Can't imagine there will be as many as before though, You used to see lots of foreign trucks in too from Holland, Spain, Germany etc.

I'll be keeping an eye on 0.8w/7e/10e/16e/23.5e/28.2e

I have a KA LNB on 19.2e for ITN but i've not seen anything on there for months so not holding my breath.


In 2015 I think it was, or maybe 2017? The BBC rented space on 33e as well, maybe worth keeping an eye on that or 36e.

ah cool - there's hope of some feeds then! I remember lots on 28.2 and some on 23.5 last time round?

Yeh 0.8w/16e/23.5e and 28.2e had absolutely dozens last time in 2019.

wow! I really struggle on 16 east sadly, only able to pick up the highest frequency with my 80cm setup - if the BBC are listening, chuck them on something else please!!
