Updating Humax F1-Fox over the air?

Hello! i have a Humax F1-Fox with an veeery old firmware/software in it.
I think it's from year 2000 or something?
After i've spended some hours googling possibilitys, i didn't become any wiser...

I understand that my reciever has an RS232-C output. This looks almost like a VGA-contact.

Since i don't have a RS232 cable, i simply wonder if it's possible upgrading my reciever S/W via satellite?
I've tried with this link;

But the reciever says that an update isn't available.

Can somebody help me?

Its very unlikely something that old will have ota firmware updates still being transmitted. The normal lifecycle for ota updates are 3-4 years.

I assume that as well. I'll probably have to buy a cable for it, or perhaps a new reciever.

Humax no longer support the F1-Fox so you arent going to get any recent firmware for it.

However if it does what you want it to then it'll be fine

It will work just dandy for the free channels even if its a little slow these days.
