No. USALS is a whole different kettle of fish. It needs far more electronics to calculate where to send the dish than a simple pulse counter. There are far too many variables with the jack arm... Degrees per pulse, how the jack is fitted, type if polar mount etc.
Nope, will never work with USALS. And number of clicks will vary depending on where you are on the arc. With the arm extended and the dish pointing west, you'll have less clicks per degree than on the eastern side.
