Using TV CAM Slot to get Al Jazeera Sports

Next Receiver - 2 dishes tuned to Nilesat and Turksat

Turkey
I have a NEXT receiver in Turkey and get Nilesat & Turksat but the receiver has no CAM or card slot - but my UK TV which I use in Turkey does have a dvd tuner and CAM.

I want to buy an Al Jazeera Sports Card which you can use with Nilesat.

Is there any way I can get the receiver for Nilesat to work with my TV CAM so the Al Jazeera card will work without me having to buy a new receiver with a card slot?

Not very technical - Ian :confused

Most likely your television has a terrestrial digital tuner and not a satellite digital tuner, the CI slot will probably be for this.
Please post your television make/model for more detailed information.

It is a foehne and hirsch (ebuyer) 22" - bought a year ago so I suspect a low spec.
I think my best option is to buy a receiver with a card slot - my neighbour has one with 2 card slots and one CAM - if I bought one of those as my dish is already tuned in to Nilesat would I just select Nilesat in the settings (it is there I checked) and it will work as my dish is already delivering this to me - and then just put the card into one of the card slots?
