Newly-signed Toro Rosso driver Sebastian Vettel will stay at the team for the 2008 season, it was confirmed on Thursday. Vettel, who will make his debut for the Italian squad in Hungary this weekend, was only announced as Scott Speed's replacement on Tuesday.
Prior to joining Toro Rosso, the 20 year-old German was BMW Sauber's reserve driver and made his Formula One race debut for them at June's United States Grand Prix in place of an injured Robert Kubica. He finished his maiden outing in eighth, making history by becoming the youngest driver to score a world championship point.
