VHS channel addition to receiver

Hi,

I have 4 receivers connected to HOTBIRD, I want to add a VHS channel to be viewed through these receivers, so that tape played on VHS can be viewed through receivers, RF can not be used for the TVs. someone few yaers ago told me that this can be done by using modulator (QPSK or QAM, not sure) then using the receiver setting to SMATV. ANyone have any idea. and is it possible to receive satellite channel and SMATV on single receiver like humax and starsat?

My Satellite Setup
Technomate 5402 HD M2 Ci, DM7000s, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Promax HD Ranger+ spectrum analyser.

Easily done with the correct equipment, but silly expensive for a domestic system.

Yes, you are talking of thousands of pounds. I think someone had a second hand modulator they were selling in the For Sale section a few months ago and that was about £500 ISTR.
