300 SD and 80 HD via satellite!

Some games via the Viasat Sport/Football channels, others in partners with TV2 who will broadcast on both 4.8E and 1w?

How true is this?

Everywhere is saying 380 games live...

Signal on this is SO much stronger then ADMC... but i cannot find any confirmed listings!! :(

Viasat, i dont think ALL games will be English comms

Also 1 box is £1285 (£1250 each for 6)

ADMC is £450 each for my price from supplier.

For me, viasat is not worth thinking about.

But for others after 1 box... very good package, has champions league, fa cup etc to

On some viasat transponders on 5.0 East my 1.2m dish did not give me any signal,The Premier League Hd Channel was one of the transponders so i have had to turn my 2.4m dish to 5.0 East.To guarantee signal on 5.0 East in all weather conditions.

I did have some initial trouble with the PL HD channel until I adjusted the LNB skew very slightly.

I can pick up all transponders fine on my 1M Gib, but any rain and I have had it with the Nordic beams.

yes viasat xtra pl channels have english audio, tv2 epl channels only danish or norwegian audio i think.

do you require all games as sky italia has english audio but not all games at 3pm etc

If we are talking about Viasat Sweden - this weekend only two out of ten games will have English commentary.

Reason is they have two standard channels (Fotboll & Sport) and only need the Xtra channels for the 3pms. This weekend there are only four 3pms - hence there will only be two games on Xtra and therefore only two games in Englsih.

Thanks for posting as you have reminded me to correct my post. The situation is changing week by week and more of the Viasat Sweden matches are in English than I posted. Viasat Sport was in English yesterday so that means possibly five of the ten matches this weekend will be in Englsih.

I'm trying to find out what size dish I need to recieve Viasat and found this thread, I'm confused by the different comments, is Viasat a Nordic Beam or do I not need to worry about that. What dish size size do you recommend for trouble free reception even when its raining, thank you

Interesting, When I required about the price of the Viasat card and receiver the price was around £1200, Now the same company's are quoting almost £2000, A complete rip off i think the dealers are making a killing here because they know the pubs will buy them and it will still work out cheaper for them than buying an official Sky card.

For Birmingham my guess would be 1m dish gives trouble free viewing.

But you need someone with local knowledge to confirm, I suggest you start a post in the reception forum - AFTER you make an introduction stating whether you are an individual football fan or a pub/club.

Hi Bradyfield, I also have a motorised dish and I also leave in Birmingham, The quality on all the channels on my spiderbox are recording around 58% on a 1m dish, So you should be fine.
