- Relaxed false virus detection

I protect my software with obfuscation. Since I cannot afford a certificate to digitally sign my software, this triggers anti virus software.

In the previous version I tried a more aggressive obfuscation, which triggered bigger anti virus brands like Trend, McAfee and, especially, Microsoft.

In this version I relaxed obfuscation and used some different methods. Now I get less hits on Virus Total and Microsoft no longer complains, while still protecting my intellectual property.

Note that these false positives happen due to "heuristic" scanning that evaluates several factors: use of network (which I do for UDP streaming), use of external DLL (which I do for loading streamreader.dll), use of obfuscation (which I do to protect my software).

On VMA Stream reader current version with a TBS5927 I find the RF Scan mode always sets itself back to "Use BLScan()" all other settings seem to save OK. Any suggestions on a fix? Can you reset the whole suite to its default values?

hi all,
I don’t understand, am I doing something wrong, or is the MPE/IP mode in VMA struggling to open radio channels on 11050 V 3500?

When I double-click and start a stream for TV channels in the embedded player, it works perfectly. But if I double-click on 228.5.6.7 and open a radio channel (regardless of the popup adds +2 or not), I don’t hear anything.

@FC GD Which Satellite are you pointing at in your post?

0.8"W Siminn IP mux.
I checked with TS Reader and can confirm that audio is present in the stream, but there’s still no sound in VMA

I tried it myself: the operator must have changed something. I get almost no packets.

Then I checked 30.0W 12520 V and here it works fine:

For radio channels from Síminn, TS Reader seems to be the reliable option as a temporary solution until the issue is figured out (if it is actually an issue). For video streams, VMA is definitely the KING . Vitor, thank you again for all the great tools you’ve created.

I just checked it with my own tools: are siminn radio streams are working. Streams attached.

I forgot about this... This operator seems TIME DEPENDENT - they do not transmit 24/7!

Indeed. I forgot this as well. It can be quite frustrating when you look for something that is not there, but aren't the radio stations on 24/7
(tv is definitely only in the evening).

New version VMA Video Analyser – 2026-07-08

2026-07-08
- VMA Touch Deck
- First public release: Allows using smartphone, tablet, etc. as a remote control deck

- VMA Transport Stream Analyser
- PMT/PAT/SDT are parsed constantly, updating any TS change - no more need to cycle STOP-START
- Skin improvements for dark skin
- Added RDS signalling in PMT/PAT/SDT tree

With the new VMA Transport Stream Analyser version, you can reduce the Time to Parse PAT/PMT:

index.php

This allows a much faster start of the application when START is clicked.

Also, any subsequent change in the TS will automatically be recognized and all relevant tables will be updated accordingly.

It is no longer needed to cycle STOP - START to update for a new TS.

VMA Touch Deck turns any phone, tablet, touchscreen, or browser into a customizable remote control panel for a Windows PC.
You design buttons, sliders, knobs, labels, and remote-control views in the Studio application, assign actions to them, and then control your PC or applications over the network. It can be used locally or remotely through a VPN, making it useful for broadcast tools, media control, production workflows, demonstrations, support, and general Windows automation.
