Great news! I now have TF1, M6, and W9 from 9ºE, France2,3,5,Ô from 5ºW, TV5 FBS, Europe, and Mahgreb/Moyen Orient from 19 and 26ºE, not forgetting BFM, iTélé, Arte and quite a few more, along with loads of radio stations, and all free to air. Life is sweet for a francophile living in northwest Spain...

I really hope all these French channels stay clear on Eurobird... Considering M6 CH was free for years on Eutelsat at 7 degrees

I hope so too. My worry is that this is the beginning of a mini bouquet of channels which might one day encrypt, but as you say M6 CH has been free for years. If the worst ever came to the worst at least we can go down the Fransat route without too much hassle.
