Force 1122, Freecam 2.028, season 2 (unpowered), WB 3.99.
I can now get some communication in a FC2.018 in seca and irdeto, but none at all in embedded Via cam.
The only messages in the log box (Irdeto screen seca box selected) are either hex strings or "Country code" + hex string and "Ascii answer" + Hex string

Could the Force be not giving enough power to the season?
Do I need to reset the COM1 settings on the PC to the same as the reccomended settings within WB?

Any ideas - please

Glad to read that you now have 30w nagra working.

If you used the satkoos wallbanger keys file you should now have keys for all the usual encryptions up to date as of the date of the satkoos file.

Polsat change keys every weekday evening. To clear Polsat you must get these latest keys - I have seen them on Romanian & German sites posted pretty much at the time they change in the evening.

If you clear nagra on 30w I can think of no other reason why Polsat doesn't clear.

@BB
I can only get some 30W using Conaxis (in embedded cam) or 6in1 in the FC2.018.

I still get nothing thru' the Season/Wb - and I am getting very frustrated.

Can you (or anyone else) advise whether I can assume the Season is working correctly by the fact that I get log messages of either just hex strngs or "Request Country code" + Hex$$$ then "Ascii response" + Hex$$$$. But I only get this in Irdeto mode (thru FC2.018). In the embedded Via cam I get nothing at all.

Could it be the PC, its an old Dell 486 LT with W95.

PLease, Please Help....

Sorry about the 30w confusion, I didn't read your other post properly. Don't think I can help you further other than to add the following observations.

I used a Compaq 486 laptop with win95. I note that you have been successful (to a point) with another pc, so maybe it's the settings on each individual PC, I'm just guessing here.

I can get everything working as it should with a FC2-018 - all encryptions on the Irdeto tab. When I tried to get Wallbanger working on another receiver with Via & Seca cams, I got nothing despite experimenting with various settings.

When it's working properly I get the following in the log (I tick the all data option) - this is not an accurate list, but gives an idea:

Request card File 1, 2 x 2
Request Country Code - reply
Incoming cam key - reply - hex data
Incoming ecm instruction - hex data
Signature ok

You should be getting all that (but you probably know this by now).

Things have moved on a bit.
Tried a different LT (Dell P233 with W98) last night and success on the embedded Via cam - worked fine on Absat at least - shame there is not much left in Via 1!!

What settings did you use on your Freecam? I've got the ones from the Meeting place database.
What did you have the Goodies on the cam set to - the standard I/BC/S/V/N I assume.

Even with the cam set goodies to Irdeto, all I get the the country code request & reply.

My settings with Freecam:

In the Irdeto Tab > Settings
COM1
Parity>none
ATR>9600
Data rate>9600
Data Bits>8
Stop Bits>1
Auto Conect, Enable RTS, Shake It! all unchecked

I just click Connect, and away it goes - zap to another channel - lots of data in the Logs Window and a few moments later the channel clears.

Cam goodies I have set to irdeto. It makes no difference what the goodies are set to on my Nokia 9600, but probably different with your Force.

I know you have tried very hard to get an answer for your Force but until you get help from someone with a Force 1122 who's had success with a freecam I think all you can do is keep trying different things, or give up.

Last thought, have you tried a search on Force in the Wallbanger forum to see if that turns up anything useful from old posts.

Thanks again BB
Yes I have searched the message list and nothing specific comes up.
From their database, the settings are as yours except stop bits =2 not 1. Probably won't make any difference.

At least I do know that the interface works from the Via cam test - I wasn't sure as I built it from a kit.

I may also try my main PC on the weekend - when my wife's at work - too much to lug down from upstairs while she's in.

Thanks again
