Greetings,
would any of you kind folk have a 90cm PF for sale? Needed for Meteor weather satellite reception on 1.7ghz. Mounting hardware isn't important but must have the three LNB stays please. Can collect most of Essex or around Basildon.

Thanks.

I've got a couple suitable. One petalised but without feed supports but they would be easy to make using ali rod/tube. It was sold as a kit in 1980s by VHF-Communications for Meteosat. It worked fine on S band for Arabsat and C band for Gorizont back in the day. £free. The other is solid with feed support £20. PM for more info. I need to check the actual dimensions.

Unfortunately I can't DM you as I'm not a regular contributor. Been a part of the forum since 2010 but not that active as working on amateur radio projets.

If not, a Red Hat should be able to over-ride the system and activate PMs for Tridant.

If no go I also have a Gorizont primefocus system here going spare, though it is a shade under 1m diameter (which is allowed under current UK planning regulations).

Collect from the KT8 area.

Quick question, why are you going for a dish and not a yagi antenna ?

90cm dish now collected, thank you Spence, it was a pleasure to meet you.

The ~1m petal dish is still available and free if collected. The feed arms and feed are missing. The original article, describing the construction, is in issue 3/1979 of VHF Communications which can be found here: VHF COMMUNICATIONS: UHF VHF Microwave Amateur Magazine
