a couple of years ago ,it was posible,with dvb 2000 over scsi cable,to input a ip adress,and watch,the data,and store them on a pc!
there where also ,serval pc programms,over pc tv card,where i try it in the past,but i forgot the name of the programms in the meantime,on some transponder,on telestar,arond 3 years ago,there was a data transponder,where the transponderstream,was so massive,when more people sharing one ip,over a content service provider,that programm,always crashes!
most of the data,of satelites internet,are free to use for all,there was also many reports about it,on drdish tv in the past,now many years ago,i heard nothing about it,and never test it again,does anyone know,or can say,about the current situation,is it always the same today,for e.g on ebird satelte,or most of the data now protected for view from the public
most of the data was rubish,but you could select,what filetype you want jpeg mp3 pdf etc..
the programm was called ip dvb 2000 !
i could imagine,that today it also works,does anyone knows more?
