Hi, what's currently the weakest transposer at 28.2, for aligning a Sky dish without any specialist equipment? (in south east England) thanks

They're all strong, I would suggest 11224 V 23000 would be a good transponder to use as 11224 H 27500 is also active, having both polarities active on the same frequency means they will interfere with each other if skew isn't correct. I've also seen complaints about 11671 H 23000 after a certain channel moved to it from a UK beam transponder which may indicate it is one of the weaker transponders.

thanks. yeah, not much in it. read somewhere that 11082H is one of the weakest, which seems to hold true

Is 16db weak? Those are my best. I get CNN and NHK when everything else is blocked by rain etc. 11082H too.

It's all relative though. The 2G euro beams are much weaker than the UK spot beams in the UK. Even the 2E/2F euro beams are stronger in the UK compared to the 2G euro beam. So badly aligned dishes tend to show up with bad reception on 2G euro beams first.
