Lots of people wish they could walk around with their TVs. And while tablet computers have made this possible, Dave Forbes took it one step further, creating wearable TV...sort of. His 160 x 120 LED video coat is composed of circuit boards and LED flex boards attached to a lab coat. It hooks up to an iPod for its video feed, and runs on 12V batteries, which have to be changed approximately every hour of constant play. Forbes also included several knobs to the coat, giving the wearer the ability to adjust the brightness and color; one knob can even turn the video into black and white. Though it won't be flexible enough to sit on, Forbes plans on wearing the coat to the Burning Man festival in the summer, where he is likely to get a lot of media attention. It is already predicted that his invention will become a unique method of advertising.
