My Satellite Setup
I have a 85cm Faval Dish with 0.2 titanium lnb and alsat dark motor running off of a Technomate 1500 Ci Super

I have just recently purchased a Technomate 1500 Ci super it came with a what was called a null cable to connect receiver to my pc, but u have just noticed there is problem i have socket on rear of pc tower that will fit it but there is only one and that is for the monitor, any advice would be most grateful

Hi,

The null-modem cable needs to plug onto a 9-pin D connector (RS232) not a 15-way of the same size.So it would't have fitted anyway.

Have you got any 9-pin D connectors on the PC?

If not, you may have a 25-pin male D connector on there,
in which case you'll need an adapter.

If there are no serial ports at all then a USB to RS232 adapter is needed,
or even better a serial port card.
