[QUOTE="Turok, post: 568408, member: 192339"] Hello! what dish do you bought? where you liver in europe? 1,86m,would be the better choice for cband,1,50m are okay, but you dont get all transponders! both db and kelvin itself is importend! db in Kuband, and Kelvin degrees in cband must be low,but only this atributes alone, makes no good lnb the ampliphiying ,must be also good, in cband is typcicly 63 to65 db and now, comes the stability,of the oscillator, into "the game" examples ! you have a cband lnb with 15 kelvin with a ampliphiying of 65 db with a maximum aboration of under 250 khz, thats a real good one,and it would be a dream! but normal lnbs, not have this preferences, you have to spend around 200€ for a norsat or a call amp in this quality! some call amp lnbs works difrent from other brands,it only has 63 db gain and kelvin between 20 and 35 db,what was normal,on the good old days of the beginning! but it has a correctnes from 12 khz,and not a correctnes between 250 and 500 khz it is extrmly freqency stable, but not so sensitive! typicly for a pll! talking, technical english,is very complex for me,because,i dont know all the words, but ,with the help of dictionary, and 20 minutes time, for this topic,i hope it helps a little bit, bringing, light into the darkness:) is there any intrest,to extend the cband discusion here, maybe ,also like in kuband, seperate zone, for the cband satelites? would be find very good!
