what equipment needed

I'm new to satellite tv & have Humax vaci-5300. Would like to receive Canal Plus & Tv Vlaanderen. Can anyone advise me on the easiest programmer to use & what cam would i need ? I.e Dragon or Matrix. Need some practical advice.

Where is your dish pointed ?

As for cams, the dragon seems tops and maybe a cas 3 for load files and stuff.

Cheers for the advice Razor. My dish picks up Hotbird & Astra 1. Are you any where near Drogheda ? Coz my mate's frm that part of the world & my family originate from Athlone.
