What is Advantage of Upgrading software???

I Have a Strar track cl+ll i want to upgrade its software i have also download its software from starsw now i dont no what are its advantages and how can i upgrade it .................. And i Need B4U Movies How CAn i Got It plz Help Me,,,,,,,

If it is a manufacturer's upgrade, then it will normally only address problems with earlier versions. If it is an unofficial version, then it may well do things which the original software doesn't, perhaps even pull in a few encrypted channels.

PS. always be careful when upgrading/flashing new software, it has the potential of knackering your receiver. ;)
