Zager and Evans - In the Year 2525

When this came out (in 1969!) I read a record review which basically said that, although the song was also available on the same name album you should only bother buying the single. I was very much in favour of buying LPs rather than singles as they were better value for money so, of course, I bought the LP.

I took it home and played the first side which contained the title track and then put the LP back in its sleeve without playing the second side. And there it has remained. Forty eight years later I still haven't got around to playing the second side.

What an extraordinary insight... a really eloquent way of expressing how one might feel about, well, anything demanding attention.
Particularly, I seem to get that feeling with politicians, bosses, famous people, locals, and sometimes even relatives...
