Which Card for Footie ?

Hiya

There seems to be 3 cards out there that will give prem footie.

I think i am going for the ART card, but was interested in the new ART card with Aljezeera and the DIgitalORb card.

Which is the best value and which gives the most prem matches ??

Is it true that the ART card only gives out 2 prem matches every sat ? If that is true, do the others offer more on the Saturday at 3 P.M. ??

Yes Paul, but all of the people with ART, DigitalB and other football cards are more likely to look here, as football and sport is why they buy them, the section you posted in was for programmable cards, not official cards.

you got it mixed up its digitalb that show a couple of matches a week and art show like 4 3pm kickoffs at the weekend

i would go for the art sport card

I was worried that i was gonna be lumbered with watching boring Chelsea every saturday, but if ther are 4 games then there is a good chance that Middlesbrough will be on at least one of them when i am not at the Riverside.

Paul, dont you mean boring Boro. They are one of the worst teams to watch on the TV, apart from those two games in the UEFA Cup.

Theres just nothing to excite you watching them!!

Apart from that you should enjoy your ART card. You even get midweek games that Sky dont show. Well worth the money.

The only problem with ART, is ART SPORTS 2, where is has dodgy English audio that keeps cracking up.

But apart from that, its excellent!!

Well I'll be watching, or at least listening to Boro' for the first game of the season, as they're playing Reading. ;)

Just saw on another thread a Art has 6 channels, they could be showing 6 matches at the same time. Is this really likely to happen ????

yes they do already as it used to be just 4 channels on hotbird and the extra art sports 5 & 6 used to be on nilesat 7w but they've added 5&6 to hotbird now

you will need to buy one of the newer art cards that also have aljazzera sports channels included to view them as i dont think the other prepaid cards unscramble them

If you search on fleabay (just enter Art Sport Card) there are Art + Al Jezera cards (Carte) available for £96 + delivery got mine already, last seson up to to 6 games were live on sat pm (12:45 x 1, 15:00 x 4, 17:15 x 1) matches were also show complete on delayed transmission, they also showed every game on sundays and mid week games. The al Jezera will also include FA Cup and Carling cup matches. Unless you speak Arabic don't bother with the full Art package very few programmes were available in english. Art has also upgraded the signal today and the picture is now appearing to be much better

What channels were the 3 o clock ones on. ART Sports 1-4 ???? If that is the case, then i am alright !!

Apparently Digitalb have joined up with SAT+,and this will bring even more european footie on the Digitalb card!!!!
