Not all receivers of the same make and model are the same. Some are not patchable, and some may also need hardware 'tweaks'.</span></span></span></span></p><p> </p><p><span style="color: black"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'"><span style="font-family: 'Comic Sans MS'"><span style="font-size: 10px">'Specialist' STB's like the Dreambox, Triple Dragon etc. Almost identical to a PC, but in an STB case.</span></span></span></span></p><p> </p><p><span style="color: black"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'"><span style="font-family: 'Comic Sans MS'"><span style="font-size: 10px">STB's with CI slots for CAMs and cards. Choose and buy your STB (CAREFULLY!), pick a compatable CAM (based on others experience - lots of reading required potentially), buy a card which will hold the software that you require to open the packages you want, and add a programmer that will program it. </span></span></span></span></p><p><span style="color: black"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'"><span style="font-family: 'Comic Sans MS'"><span style="font-size: 10px">You will then need to really understand which files you want, and from where they come, how to program them (how to use your programer) and how to regularly update the keys.</span></span></span></span></p><p><span style="color: black"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'"><span style="font-family: 'Comic Sans MS'"><span style="font-size: 10px">Some CAM's don't need cards for some bouquets.
