Jackhulk Although the best option is a dreambox, this all depends on how good you are technically, and by that i dont mean satellite wise.... more to do with computer networking and using FTP etc... if your not confident with a PC, then i would give a dreambox a miss, like i say the dreambox if used to its full potential is an excellent choice. but more often than not, alot of users cant use it, and struggle with the steep learning curve. some even break it :( gadget freaks like me love it though :) definatley get a motorised system too, if your fixed to 1 or 2 satellites with a block or static dish thats great, but having available all the satellites means you have a wider choice of football provider, sometimes on free channels. at the moment my dreambox gets me FREE live football all the time, more than even i can watch. i bought my system for football and sport in general, and years later i am still happy with my equipment choice. i like you sought the advice of the users on this forum ... (thats the first good choice you made ;) ) most technical and eventually most rewarding... dreambox straight out of box and watch footy..... Technomate/Manhatten + DigitalALB Subscription the thing to remember about watching FREE football though is that channels change encryption constantly, meaning you have to keep up with the changes and fight to keep them clear. if this is too much hassle, buy a Subscription card for 12 months uninterupted sport (better and cheaper than sky even then!) i know for a newbie all this seems alot to take in, but trust me you do pick it up quickly (even quicker near kick off time LOL) the best advice i can give i suppose is to take your time, read alot and ask lots of questions. Hopefully this will help you make the right choice. if you get it wrong you could end up buying another receiver in 12 months or less... which is obviously not good.
