WiFi Problem on Premium+

Hi All
After been away from the sat scene for a good few years,decided to get a new HD box.
Have a dreambox 7000 so not new to Linux. My first step was to get the box linked up with my router via wifi. It simply wont connect at all. Will connect wired though. Anyway here is what I done.
Menu/Internet/WiFi ticked. Searching found my network.Static ip/
IP address 192.168.0.24
Subnet 255.255.255.0
Gateway 192.168.0.1
DNS1 192.168.0.1
Inserted WEP 64/128(open) Key/Connect/set up/Compleated/Exit/Reboot.
Still not connecting
Tried Dynamic ip then still no joy.
In router went wireless G mode only, still no joy.
Also tried other Channels.
Anyone with similar problems. Have been on to the company who sold me the box & still waiting for a solution.

Hi Burnham
After spending ages trying every sort of key, I decided to reset my router to default again and input my internet settings.
I got it to connect without a key 1st, then I went for a wep key and it connected with that. Im leaving well alone now as its working. Thank god. Going to explore now.I Put a 1tb drive in. I also not the fan is a bit loud, is this normal in the azbox.??

Glad you have got your Premium+ working.

I have the original Premium model and I used wifi for the first few months, and had a few problems which I lived with. But I eventually dropped wifi and hard wired it; main reason is that when I have any cs problems I now know for certain it's not down to the connection.
