it has to be one of britains biggest fights in a long time!!!

both undefeated, and both totally different in style.

Who's gonna win? vote here and lets see if the satellite members get it right.

Vote first then post your prediction on how it will end

I voted for Floyd Mayweather.... i really want Ricky to win, but i think he will come unstuck :(
stopped with a cut or beaten on points, thats how i see it.

Unfortunately I am with you there RD, of course I would like a Brit to do him over but having seen Floyd's uncle this morning on TV talking a load of unintelligible rubbish if you actually tried to make sense of what he was saying It appeared to me he was intimating that Floyd would head butt him deliberately to cut his eyes if he needed to, I do hope that the referee is on the lookout for that sort of tactic as that can ruin a fight and the chances of Ricky winning.

Since both are unbeat and neither has been knocked out, it's even stevens.

Nothing suugests to me Mayweather is better than Hatton, so I don't know why he is the favourite. Asa UK resident, I'd say Hatton all the way.

No reason to doubt him. :)

I have spoken to a lot of my friends, and my brother reckons the key to Hatton's success will be roughing Mayweather up and crucial body shots to the ribs.

Come on Hatton, you can do it, m8. :

Is it true, the German Sports channel on Astra 19 degrees east will be showing the boxing free.

Is there anything else on for those of us not interested in senseless violence? :D

FM has a longer reach (an extra 6 inches) and much quicker hands... although RH punches harder, it wont be the first time FM has had to deal with a brawler... because of his quick hands if it does go the distance, FM will have a points advantage.

also Mayweather has won titles at 5 different weights, and dealt with some of the best boxers in the world.

In Hattons favour, is his great ability of rising to the occasion, when the chips are down he comes out blazing.

speaking of which... the first couple of rounds will be electric!!!

whatever happens, i am really looking forward to it, its gonna be a great fight.

You're vastly under-rating Hatton. If you see him today during the weigh in he looked in terrific shape.

Flloyd looked scared. Yes, Floyd is a great boxer, but Hatton is a tiger. He will win. :D

Out with Tiger Tim... in with Tiger Rick LOL

Watched the way in and yes Ricky Hatton looks in the shape of his life... The support he is getting is unbelievable, 7000 Brits are there, But only 3600 will get inside to see the fight, The rest will watch on big screens in the casino's.

Looks like i will try and get it free on RTL (Astra 19.2e) and others, if all else fails then i will order Box office before it starts.

Ummm looks like i have some work to do..

congrats to the 3 that got it right...

Hatton completely outclassed.

shame, cos hes our best boxer at the moment.

Was reading the report of the fight on the BBC website, they must have been watching a different fight to me, because they make out that hatton actually was on top for part of the fight!!!
In the fight i watched, Hatton was given a boxing lesson and never landed a decent punch in 10 rounds, he admitted at the end of the fight that the plan they had never worked. So after 4 rounds when it was obvious that it wasnt working, why didnt they change it.

Mayweather was interviewed and it was said that no-one has seen him fight in that defensive style.... he replied "a true champion can adapt and win"

I agree.

as my mate said this morning after the fight...
"Just look at Floyd Mayweathers face after the 10 rounds, i bet his face takes more punishment while working the bags in the gymn!!!"

Nuff said.

PS
I watched it on RTL, turned down the volume and switched my Pure DAB radio onto 5 live..... perfectly in sync!!
we turned it on as the guy was singing "star spangled banner" and couldnt believe that it was spot on :D

Just though i would share that with you all, because i have tried this before and the lag was annoying... but with a Digital radio its perfect. ;)
