Mine was a football/tennis game we plugged into the back of the TV. I got it on my birthday in 1979.

Phoar, this was technology at its most advanced. :D A black and white screen, with two "goals" at the end, and a white dot you'd bounce off either side.

And they were expensive. Still see a few around nowadays...indeed they're collectable antiques. :D :-rofl2

I rarely play games, but my first game was Harrier Attack.

Notice any difference between the optimistic illustration on the cover and the actual game :-lmao

Acorn Electron for me, but couldn't stand waiting 10 minutes for the game to load from C60 tapes, so took up basic programming instead, that was more fun than alien alert or whatever, but it took even longer to write a simple program and even longer to debug it...... lol that was when I discovered PC time warp where you think you have been on the computer for 20 minutes or so and find that three hours have passed you by :-doh!
