yumatu mx and rs232 connection

sorry for my bad english,

I have a at recever yumatu mx series connected to my computer with a rs232 cable.
When I upgrade the firmware, i need to shutdown and restart my sat receiver, is it possible to restart the yumatu mx from my computer ?(with the hyperterminal of windows for exemple)

Welcome to the forum benlog

I do not know your stb at all but I very much doubt it. It is more likely that you will need to power it down at least to standby using the remote if not completely off by unplugging the power. What do the instructions say??
