Zee TV smartcard paired with STB supplied by agent

I live in South East Australia. I have my own set top box, which is Strong srt4658x. It has got Conax and Irdeto (amongst others) compatible CAM. Zee TV is now offering access to pay TV of its Asiasat 3S (C band ) channels. However, I cannot use their smartcard without using their set top box, too. I only want to use the smartcard with my own set top box, ie Strong srt4658x, but this doesn't seem possible, even though it is Conax compatible. Is their a patch for my STB which would enable it to accept the Zee TV smartcard? Any other solutions? khana :toke:

I am sure you enjoyed hustle and bustle of the capital city
I take it despite being a jet setter you are very good at geography then...... as London is over 200 miles away from the NW England, completely different climate

Your comments have been taken on board, and are more or less quite valid. I only subscribe to 'respectable' forums where the members contribute their knowledge, etc, and not 'fringe' groups, where the members just upload or download files, or indulge in sytematic misleading or downright michievous behaviour, so I may have missed the information that I wanted, but such groups would probably have not provided it gratis, anyway.

I wasn't sure how far NW in the UK you were, but, to be frank, I didn't give it too much thought or check my maps obsessively, either!

My jetsetting indeed takes me frequently from home to airports, conference venues in major cities or holiday resorts, then back again, with not much knowledge of the bits of geography in between, leaving big holes there! However, I carry my indispensible laptop with me everywhere, and keep in touch via broadband Internet that way!

I was almost in the Qantas plane which had that gaping hole in its fuselage - scary!

I had to laugh, on UK teletext they reported the hole as between 2.5mtrs and 3.00mtrs I do suspect it should have been mm though, however scary indeed, explosive decompression is not the way forward

No worries! However, remember that it is a C band subscription, via AsiaSat 3S, although there are other providers with ku band subscriptions, in other satellites, eg VisionAsia - you can 'google' them. khana
