Just Sharing This New multi-stream @ 30 west

Bit disappointed that unlike my SX88+ blindscan on the SF8008 will not find multistreams then?

Bitrate plugin is under extensions.
GlamourAuraFHD-ATV skin is under the skins section of the OpenATV feed.

Thanks looking good but think I prefer the T purple HD skin

Your choice, but you were the one asking! Plus that's irrevelant to the thread's content!

Hi, I am new to this forum, and new to multistream.
I did a blind scan on a new SX88+ two days ago, (Hispasat 30W) I picked up a transponder not listed anywhere.
I can't find any news or info, so it must be a very recent addition.
They are Spanish National, and FTA multistream.
Some of the following are also in HD.

La1
La2
Antena3
La Sexta
24 horas
neox
nova
Clan

Transponder info: 11.653H / 19680
does anyone know if this is just temporary etc.

Thanks for your prompt reply,
there does not seem to be much up to date info regarding multistream on Hispasat 30W.
lyngsat.com has 3 up to date multistream transponders.
I am receiving Hispasat on a 70 cm dish. one transponder I get clearly, one is weak most of the time.
Castilla la Mancha is too weak to receive.

Any idea what size dish I should be using.

Probably at least 1m (I get weaker channels like La Mancha on my 1.2 Gibertini, but nothing on the Sky Zone 2 - which is pretty much equivalent to a "normal" 70-80cm dish - in W. London)

These aren't multistream, they're a different (older) type of stream encapsulation via normal DVB-S2 transponders that the SX88+ can decode with the right parameters (code that was thanks to @MCelliotG's work, that got ported over to these Linux boxes by somebody).

They're the feeds for the Spanish DVB-T (TDT) network. The link @EnoSat has given you has the details of all of these transponders. To tune all of them successfully on the SX88+ you have to have the correct BISS encryption keys on your receiver, which is a subject that can't be discussed any further here - Google is your friend!

Your receiver must have the correct keys for the 11653H channels already to have tuned them in!

The channels on 11653H are the TVE RGE1 TDT multiplex and the A3Media MPE2 TDT multiplex for the Canary Islands - with Canary Islands news on La 1/La 1 HD, RNE Canarias and RNE Radio 5 Tenerife and Las Palmas, as well as Antena 3 with Canary Islands adverts and a local news opt-out in the afternoon.

The real multistream transponders are the ones you've already found - the Aragón TV, Asturias TV and CMM Castilla La Mancha ones. The latter two are quite weak - I can't receive them on my 80cm dish in the Midlands. You need at least a 1m dish I think to get them properly.

I have a triax 110 and can’t receive Asturias TV and Castilla La Mancha! I am located in Belgium... But maybe a little bit of the roof of my house blocks some signal... I don’t know for sure... I tweaked and tweaked my dish in order to get those channels and I never succeeded!

From the North of Bavaria in Germany, no problem to receive the multistream of Castilla-La mancha with 1.20m (with the rain this morning)

The same for asturias1_0_1_27EC_1450_22D4_CE40000_0_0_0_20200625082157.webp

Thank you for your detailed and helpful explanation.
That clears up a lot of confusion for me.

I noticed you pointed out, To tune them successfully you need the correct BISS Key.
So the (TDT) network channels won't even register during or after a scan without a correct Key. ?
Enough said on that subject.

cheers

how can we tune these for the TDT multiplexes in on Enigma 2 or is it a no go ?

Yes that’s right, because in the TDT sat system the separate encapsulated TDT multiplex streams on each DVB-S2 transponder are what is encrypted, the code for these feeds in the firmware of your receiver has to have the correct BISS key to be able to tune them in, otherwise it just sees them as unknown data streams.

They’re essentially transmitted as the entire TDT multiplex MPEG transport stream, encapsulated inside a single PID flagged as carrying ‘data’ (and that PID is encrypted).

It works on at least some Enigma2 receivers and images, there's a specific way of getting it to work. The instructions are no longer on this forum because people kept asking for keys, but Google is your friend!

I watch them via my PC card and TVHeadend, so I'm not really up to date on how it works on other receivers, although I'm more familiar with the way it works on the Octagon SX88+, because I have an Edision Primo IP S2 which runs the same system.

How long is the coax cable from dish to receiver.
I have maybe 18 metres from the dish to receiver. Asturias Teledeporte hardly works, and even the Abertis DTT breaks up.
But if I set it up with just 2.5 metres of cable Abertis DTT works fine, Asturias Teledeporte tends to work in the evening but not during the day.
Also the diseqc multiswitch drops the signal strength by 3%.

I don't no why I am getting weaker reception on Hispasat 30W during the day.
The LNB is new but cheap so I don't know if this hot weather is affecting it. ?

Castilla La Mancha is marginal on a 1.1m in Sheffield UK, seems like they have reduced the power as was alot stronger for me before. the other multi streams on 30°W come booming in however here

That's interesting about the TPA one, I don't get lock on my 80cm dish, and that's through a DiSEqC 2 port switch and then about 18m of cable as well. Will try it on my meter directly connected to the dish to see if I can get anything at all.

The 11653H Abertis DTT is fairly weak compared to the other ones, it doesn't take much rain for it to drop out. 12631V, 12671V, 11302H and 11382H are the strongest.

SHARQ TV (afganistan)...11491 V 7522

Reception antenna WAVE FRONTIER 3 ... south west area (Oltenia/Romania) ... clear sky

Aragon TV is the strongest of the multistreams,
for dish alignment I'm using the Technomate Twin and OpenWebif on a tablet,
for Hispasat 30W my point of reference is BOM cine on 10.922V.

The SX88+ is setup for now in the back bedroom close to the dish, the second LNB feed cables on all for sat's are accessible there and a second multiswitch.
SX88+ connected to a dedicated modulator and remote control extender so can watch Aragon TV multistream and the one Abertis DTT transponder.
Asturias and TDP sports signals is very weak the last few days so not as reliable as I first thought, 70cm dish.

I am interested in the Abertis 11382H., has anything changed comparing Enosat's transponder info FlySat Abertis DTT Packages
