Fair enough and I appreciate it. I know Martin was looking to sell his at some point and it's in much better condition than this one!

You could tell from the auction images it had not been cared for.
 
Worse, it hasn't been used very much over the past year or so. The guy had it since 2008 and it was second hand then.

Still not a bad price, considering it came with a good quality dish and the Vbox
 
looked at it myself, but as said above it did not look in too good a condition for the price. But as you say you have a dish, V-box aswell, not bad at all if you require it for spares.
 
Despite the horrible condition on the outside, inside is clean! ALL the bolts need to be replaced and some - drilled out, but I think it will be a good-un.

Well my max bid was going to be £50, I looked last night and it was over £100 so i gave it a miss.

The dish looked well made and very similar to this 1.9 @ 395 euro. I think it was being bid up from what I could see.

I had the 2.4m version once , it would just about pull in the AD sports transponders on badr 6 with no rain fade. My CM 1.8 could pull them without too much trouble.

So not a massive amount of difference then in your experience ?

A huge price difference though
 
I paid just £50 for the 2.4m with a prime focus lnb - a pub landlord just wanted it gone
 
You can get the 2.4 brand new for £195 inc delivery from a place in Hull
 
I'd like to try it on c band stuff just once to see how they perform
