What kind of cost would you be looking at for a suitable motor ? Is there nothing on there that would do the trick at a reasonable price ?

Suppose shipping is a major factor too

I could see this hanging of the back of your house:-rofl2 although it might need a bit more bracing and start up the planning issues again:D

Have to be an actuator and its a 7 hour return drive for me.

Bid a £1 and you may win because I am only going to bid 1 guinea max and I am not sure if its more or less than a £.
 
Its just what I want, but with Christmas coming up moneys a bit tight, but I could stretch to £300 I guess :)

Its been there weeks that one Evan and it will stop there at that price, I wont pay more than £300 for one unless it was on a polar mount, tbh the advantages in ku band wont be that great from the 1.8 will get 36E and I might stand a chance at 68.5E C band 25.5e is out of the question :(, I will bid up £300 if the wife gives me the go ahead :).

It could become an expensive experience as @st1 will tell you, van to pick it up £100 then you will need a stand £600ish then a PM £600 ? then an actuator for this you would want a good 36 no change from £5/600 for a quality one, so that nearly 2 grand:eek:, guess I am lucky / been collecting :DI have a stand and actuator I can make PM, just need to hire a van :)unless I could fit it in the jag it might fit will have to have a measure.

Wow, simply wow, we are talking serious money, certainly not something for me, well at least not until we can move to a better location for something this size

Very interesting education to learn about the different costs involved, really appreciate the info Martin, as always, thanks

You have the other issues as you know full well J Planning:(, my neighbour works in planning and sorted the 1.8 out for me, hope he can do the same for a 2.4, I am not in a rush but if its the right money I will have it if the wifes ok with it:), just had a text that our credit limit has been put up on one of our cards:D so if cash is tight I can mention this to her :D

It sounds like you are trying to scare people of this one Martin. My guess is it will sell for 6 or £700, still four days left.
