Great idea but I'm not sure there's enough room to drill fresh hole, but maybe a smaller u clamp might do the trick. I'm thinking of trying to get hold of an old AZ-El mount and getting it welded to a steel plate with holes to mount to the dish.

As you might see from the photo, it's off centre. One idea is to modify the right hand side bracket so it is the 'mirror image' of the left hand one bracket and use spacers to centre the part that clamps onto the stab mount. Altertively find the relevant part that Trust has used from a motek...
