got in touch with the fella who flashed it, he told me that when he flashed it and went through the set up he entered that he only had one satellite and then continued, all i had to do was a factory reset and then when prompted enter that i had a diseq motor, i then had the option later on to...

just got my new db 500s back of a mate who flashed it and i can only get 28* BSKYB, i have tried to go into sat find, motor set up and every button i can see but the options that did give me a list of satellites on the old machine only come up with 28*, bear in mind that it was a challenge for...

sorry about that, the red stand-by light is on but it seems to be flickering very fast and the unit is totally unresponsive and there is a blank screen

i have a skt italia box but when i try to use HDMI out a banner comes on the screen, it tell or something like that..it's in Italian of course) it works fine with scart but i can't switch on the HDMI, any help would be great.me to select scart (

What image are you using? What emu/ cam? Do you use a key updater? does any of this matter if i card share?

sorry, just meant the co-ax cable, but i'm not certain it will help as you obviously can't test the HD signal with co-ax, but if the problem is there on the standard channels aswell you can try it on them, like i say, i not sure if it will help but it's worth ago.

sadly that's wha i thought i'd bought, i am a satellite/aeial installer by trade but nothing out of the ordinary, so when i was told a company would put a motor on my dish and swap my FTA box for a Dreambox for £220 and i could watch all the channels i went for it, i didn't know it wouldn't last...
