Have you noticed from these pictures of the BBC Selector, that they recycled the case from the Ferguson BSB receivers.
Looks like the just redesigned the front panel.
BBC recycling!
Maybe this Jinxed the BBC's venture too! lol
I understand it would be very rare to find a new one these days, although I have seen a boxed one that sold on the internet a few years ago.
My plan would be to strip it down, blast and re paint all of the individual parts if needed.
Are you interested in selling?
How bad is it?
Chris
Thanks Tony, yes the Marconi blue caps were rubbish!
I'm not after one to use, I am just getting a collection together of UK satellite TV equipment available at the start of Sky and BSB.
I have most of the BSB equipment and an original Amstrad SRX200 with Thomson Videocrypt decoder.
I'd just...
Does anyone have one of the original Amstrad white sky dishes from 1989/90 with matching white Marconi blue cap LNB that they’d like to part with?
Chris
Hi peeps,
I hope everyone is well
Is there a way to check and update the HackRF firmware in windows?
I too have the sparklies and fluctuating noise level.
Would love to get this sorted but I don't have and really don't know anything about using Linux.
Here are the BSB channel logos I located.
Stephen, is the updated GUI on OneDrive yet? I'll give it a try when I get chance.
Captain Jack, any idea as to the channel name appearing on my Tatung receiver and not on the Ferguson? Is this in the receiver somewhere of is it being sent by HackTV?
Interestingly on my Tatung BSB receiver the on screen graphics show The Movie Channel.
It doesn’t show on my Ferguson receiver.
It doesn’t change whichever frequency/ channel number I broadcast to so I presume this is being transmitted by HackTV?
If so is it possible to edit this naming?
Also...
Finally got this to work and it’s great!
Turned out to be an issue with the bandwidth on my PCs front usb sockets! Connected the HackRF to a motherboard usb and it works fine.
Thanks everyone for your hard work and help.
