As most HD streaming units require 2 x cat 5/6. Also for the sake of a bit of cable I'd go mad and run everything I could ever think about running in. I'd run 3 especially to main rooms.

Yes Sky lnbs can be used, they have preseted nodges that the lnb clicks into. The thinnest lnb's the better check the specs, no problems using different lnbs on diseq switch they all do the same thing.

MY mistake I thought you were on about HDMI. You should also install the IR system with Aerial, FM/DAB. Allowing the widest choice of channels etc.
