I put up an L bracket last week, this one >> ebay 390395982109 Today I took it down as with motor + dish it wouldn't remain perfectly straight, so only able to track some of the arc, this bracket was only using 50mm tubing though. Back to T&K Brackets tomorrow

Tried it again last night and after a new scan i got JSC Sports Rotana and MBC channels as well as showcinema 1-3 & Comedy extra.:) So not much lost at all compared to the bigger dish;)

I didnt know that you could ask who complained, It was a 28 day notice to remove the dish, and they stated that I could apply for planning permission but they doubt it would be succesful.:-Nooo I have attached a copy of the letter but edited out my details for obvious reasons;) Just to add all...

Not sure could of been the local nosey parker across the way, but a "to let" sign went up next door just after, so could have been the letting agents. Either way I still have a dish up just slightly smaller.

Couldnt quite see the name & i didnt want to walk on to their garden to find out, definately a dish the front of it is solid white and what looks like the back of an LNB sticking out the back. Judging from the position it is mounted, it is somewhere between 28 & 10o East.:confused:

If it is too windy ie gale force, i leave it facing Hispasat, so it doesnt get battered, apart from that no probs with the wind.

Just to add the pictures of my new dish, after I had to take the 1.3m one down due to a complaint as mentioned in my other thread. So here is the picture of my Gibertini 1m dish on a Dark Motor, it is pointing @ Hispasat 30oW in the pictures.

Unfortunately the front of the house, ie south facing side is open plan on to road, so security of dish would then be an issue. The letter off planning dept also stated that it was due to its visual impact on the street, a new regulation apparently it is a condition of installing an antenna...
