In order to repair the Cam you need a CAS 3, with cas7.4 software. The version 7.4 is actually the first version that actually would repair the cam due to a timing issue with the chip. If you are careful, you can just open one side of the cam. I did this then I cut a hole over the connections...

err.0 is rom corruption, this is the problem a lot of us have had. There is no fix that we know of now except. Reload the bin file, but if you switch off power it will happen again.

I have been on other sites and they say if nothing else works you have to JTAG the bin into the receiver. I do not have a Jtag so I cannot tell you how to do it.
