ITV HD settings on various (mainly non Freesat) HD boxes

althom40 OK I switched the laptop on where all this is stored.... I used NDFEdit from the CT site [assuming that board rules from elswhere apply concerning no live links]: http://www.clarketech.altoma.biz/infocenter/downloads?template=detail&entryid=10&lang=en You just run NDFEdit.exe My...

ITV HD settings on various (mainly non Freesat) HD boxes

Always good to see my posts ripped off by someone else and put under their name. The instructions above are what I published across the net when I got the CT5000 sorted for ITV HD. Now you can put those commands into the official CT editor that you get off their site or the p one which was / is...

    Clarke Tech & Ch4 HD

Well I was going to say then it looks like the CT then. I know Tony has a theory that it's the bit rate that it's being asked to do on C4HD. An alternative could be that the CT on Astra 2 with whatever the interference [if it's that] is beating with another frequency on Astra 2, so it's not...

    Clarke Tech & Ch4 HD

Mind you I did tell Tony that on DECT phones etc.... There is a trick where you can tell it the cross over frequency is something else ?... so it shifts the channels around which can avoid the DECT signal as a test... least I think there is. Since I don't have the problem I'm not going to...

    Clarke Tech & Ch4 HD

I just do the automatic tune using either of those software versions and it's stable as a rock. I did try to simulate the problem by tuning it off frequency but that didn't create the problem so, so much for my theory. Are you sure it isn't beating with some other piece of equipment or it's not...

    Clarke Tech 5000 HD

Afraid I just use an East to West positioner on mine [ie. two buttons] I wouldn't trust a digital box to do that bit myself.

    Clarke Tech & Ch4 HD

True is me :). I put my money on it being either the frequency drifting out or a variation of the 6 percent signal quality issue that I've seen elsewhere. I suggested bracketing the frequency by adding in a new transponder frequency slightly up and down, tune in. I know you can do that and see...

Some success with ITV HD on Fortec Passion

How it goes is that the pids and stuff are pulled off by people with their dvb cards. Then the other group of people with their dvb cards realised that the H.222 header was duff and it was H.264, so then it's a question of getting the box not to get knocked off balance by the data stream saying...

Some success with ITV HD on Fortec Passion

You people had a difficult birth with your box I sorted it out with the Clarke Tech in next to no time. The key for that is to lock the PIDs, using the manufactures own software for set edit operations cuts out the variable that is introduced by other peoples sofware not working correctly. That...

ITV HD settings on various (mainly non Freesat) HD boxes

ITV just did it to make a point to our dear Sky company, but the point should have been ITV HD is free to all. Sky do own 20 percent of ITV at the minute so to wage war with your owner is just a bit childish. I'm not persuaded either by ITV doesn't want to pay to get on the EPG and it's got...

ITV HD settings on various (mainly non Freesat) HD boxes

Can the dearest Mod put a link in to my thread below where I give the Clarke Tech 5000 / 5000C solution to save me coming back :). Yep sound and vision. You know some people else where have published crap about the ITV HD picture, it's pretty good, least today and the best bit is you don't have...

Clarke Tech 5000 / 5000C ITV HD Solution

OK here it is using all of Clarke Tech's tools from their web site since it appears that if you use other setting editors then things are different: I use the free Clarke Tech NDF Editor from their web site and their utility for uploading and downloading the NDF file. Here are the steps: a...
