yeah double checked the FEC and its all okay. this frequency 12525 V tp G2 DVB-S2 8PSK SR 30000 FEC 2/3 on 4.8E. I suppose can't receive as they meant for african spot beams.

i cant receive channels with the above symbol rate. do i need special lnb? i have a 6800hd box on 80cm dish. the channels i am trying to receive are on 22W and some on 4.8E from South Africa.

Its regular 6800. I didn't think the 6800 had blind search. I have checked the modulation and used the info I got from kingofsat. As for pilot feature how do u do that? sorry I seem to be lost

I have a slight problem of some transponders not having any signal at all on Hotbird. I checked on Lyngsat and flysat to see if they are active and yes they are. I have a official Cyfra Dish and card. Some of the new HD channels won't get signal. They are all subscribed for. Is it a LNB problem...

It's okay. I am just after a CAM to use for my Al Jazeera and Cyfra Official cards. so just wanted opinions on which is the better of the 2 CAMs. The patch info I got help on that from someone else.
