Should also say that I used my old Nokia 9600S with DVB2000 loaded onto it to find the signal as it outputs the raw data from the tuner; my fortec star passion takes far to long to give a lock on a signal!

Hi everyone! Thanks for all the replies! I have managed to fix the problem by lowering the angle of the dish on the mount thats on the back of the dish (cant remeber if thats the elevation or declination)! Very happy I have got this sorted now :)

Hi everyone, I have setup my little 60cm dish on H-H mount at my student flat, but cant seem to get 0.8w or 1w (however i get all the other sats :s). Can anyone suggest a solution? Also the main question, what size dish is required to get the thor sats at .8west from the south devon area...

Hi, i bought a Fortec Passion HD today, however it didnt have an instriction manual with it! Does anyone know where i can download one? Also i want to update the firmware/software from a usb stick, how do you do this? i keep getting a "fail" message... Thanks in advance!

thats rubbish m8, d2mac was very good quality if you had the right equipment. the cheap ones were poor, but neat the end of 98/99 some really good decoders were availble at lower prices. if i honestly compare my d2mac to a NORMAL digital signal (not HD) id say the d2mac was better. why? you...

i still got my maccab d/d2mac and my old sky decoder lol. i remember when all you had to do was cut a diode in the sky decoder and all the channels opened, they fixed that one quite early on the lol. can you guys remember when sky was free?!

so can you explain how i can watch it on my mrb? cos now im misugled even more...

hmmm my matirx cam has probs switching into tps, but once its in, it stays (as long as i dont change the channel). dont matirx cams have tps AU function?
