Highly unlikely! 28000 is the default symbol rate of the encoder. MTS( Telecom Serbia) bought out Polaris from Bulsatcom earlier this year. Hence a move from Astra 23.5E to the much cheaper 1.9E is possible.

TJ, yes the price was really good regardless higher purchase price . Off the record I bought it and am really pleased with the purchase. Still bedazzles me on 5w you got so many multistream French and Italian channels for free- why didn't you just tune into these?
