The DM800 only has 1 tuner that connects to the 8x1 diseqc and that gets every sat I can see inc the motor but it does not control the motor. I have that controlled by the TM500 (in another room) as I find with the fixed LNBs, I dont need to move it that often.

I have both - fixed dish for the main sats I watch and motor for everything else :)

Can you share how much you paid? Considering getting a clone for my bedroom to add HD (have original DM800 in living room and TM500 in bedroom currently). Needs to be cheap or the other half wont buy into it.

I did have a quick look but as I have the triax 110b with multiholder which currently has alps singles in it, I thought I would take the easy route and just add alps quads as I am pretty sure they should fit.
